Scrappy Again

My latest Scrap Therapy quilt is finished.  Bright colors like this are kind of out of my norm, but I really like this against the black and white patterns and I just love the border fabric.  That was actually in my stash too.  I even used some older fabrics for my backing and got rid of a lot of stash for this one.

It was guild night tonight and I won the block of the month.  Yea!  This is a photo of some of the blocks.  I got some extra checked fabric so I can make more blocks.  It was a nice meeting with a few new members.  I also picked up a book from the library called  Liberated String Quilts.  Just trying to get more ideas of what to do with some of the extra strips I'll have left over from my other strip blocks I made at retreat.  (See two or three post before this one.)  Our library has some great books and am surprised more people don't use it more.  I know I hadn't taken advantage of it much before.

Will be working on my Loose Threads project this weekend along with taking a postcard class on Saturday.  So much to do.
