Finally got the Fat Quarter Shops block late. Should be getting this months today and will post once I finish. But here is last months block.
And here is my new block next to last months block on Pat Sloans Globetrotting Block of the Month.
I was testing the striped sashing to see if I like it. Think I'm going to wait for a few more blocks.
And lastly the Block of the Month my friends are doing together. It's based on Shabby Fabrics Christmas BOM that we are making with Fall fabrics and using their pattern of a cornucopia for the big center block.
And for a touch of cuteness here is my granddaughter trying on her strawberry bib I made. Her first birthday is in a couple weeks and the theme is strawberry shortcake and I was asked to make a bib for her outfit.
I think she likes it.
Thanks for looking. Oh wait I haven't shared pictures of my Celtic solstice quilt all finished. Talk about service--I gave this top to my long armed Darby Myers (Quilted Squid--link on the right) last Thursday night at guild and she called me on Friday night and said it was done. Got it Saturday morning and got binding down and label done by Sunday. She did an all over design of bats in a medium to light purple thread. I love how it turned out. Can't wait for Halloween so I can put on my bed.
Okay. Now thanks for looking. Have a happy Valentines. I won't be home tomorrow night so my hubby had dinner of steak and potato ready for me when I got home tonight. :)
I have to say that strawberry bib is definitely the best.
ReplyDeleteI am also astounded at how cute your Halloween quilt turned out to be. I liked it in the beginning, but even more so now.
You've been busy. Celtic Solstice turned out great.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteNice BOMs. And of course Dylan is so cute with or with out the strawberry bib. I wish my Mystery Quilt was quilted already!
ReplyDeleteWhy wait till Halloween? Looks great now.
ReplyDeleteCute bib. Almost as cute as your little strawberry cupcake!
