Yea. A finished quilt

Well, almost finished. The binding is just glued down.

Here's the back so you can see the quilting. I had two charm packs of Valentine fabrics that I'd had around and found a tutorial on Moda Bake Shop by Monica Solorio on making easy 9 patches using charm packs. Pattern is called 9-patchtasic. I didn't like the layout--not big enough--so was looking for a layout using 9 patches with dark corners and with the light corners. Was perusing patterns and found Edyta Sitars Painters Palette pattern and knew that's what I wanted to do. Very springy and just in time since today is the first day of Spring.

Here's little Dylan. Sweet little baby cheeks. Kelly sent me the fabric she wants to use on the crib bumpers. I want to work on those this weekend.

I also want to pin my scrappy trip around the world quilt and start that, get the round robin blocks done, sew the sleeve on my green and white quilt for the Best of the Valley quilt show and sew the binding down on the nameless quilt above. Oh I need to finish two blocks on the Christmas block of the month that Elaine Berry, Barbara Brown and I are doing. (From the kit we bought in Houston.)

Thanks for looking.
