I had to warm up for quilting a bigger quilt so I thought this would be a good warm up piece and was thinking of using the curvy sample for the bigger quilt.
Leah Day, of http://freemotionquilting.blogspot.com/ fame was the teacher this month. This was a new and fun idea for stippling (my least favorite design) but this adds a little extra something so it fills the space a little better too.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed Leah as our FMQ Expert this month, for the 2012 FMQ Challenge. While it may not be your favorite design, it is good to try different designs and build an expertise with them. Other designs sometimes build off of skills in certain designs, plus it is always good to establish your personal preferences in FMQ designs. Either way, yours looks great.
