It was a good year for me - but not so much in quilting. I got a lot done but not like I used to do many years ago. I am so surprised how much I got done when I worked full time. How did I do it?
So here are the quilt finishes for this year.
Bonnie Hunter Mystery 2024/25
Diamond Gardens
Laundry Basket Blizard (This was a pre-cut kit--way to go with all these angles)
Fig Tree Mystery
Hodge Podge (This was a kit)
A simple 5" square quilt with chenille to make it look like plaid.
Flower Girl quilt
Our pastor and his wife had a baby boy this year and they named him Judah. Thought this was a cute quilt for him.
A quilt that me and the two girls that I teach to sew made for our churches women's Christmas coffee.
A signature quilt I made for a dear friend Kathy Eckman who moved away.
This was the Fat Quarter Shops fall mystery or sew along. I just made more blocks to make a lap size.
I helped my friend Karen Sanchez make this for her newest grandson.

Had this kit for years and finally got it done!
Modern for me but I really like it, and it fits perfectly with my summer decor and on my rack.
This was last years' Fat Quarter Shop's designer mystery quilt.
Only made one reading pillow this year.
I also finished the top for a fig tree fall quilt but haven't quilted it yet. And started the Moda Blockheads 5 quilt top but it's not pinned or quilted yet. I made a few project bags for friends.
Did whip up this little wool mat. All the pieces were pre-cut!
16 quilts fully finished
1 reading pillow
1 wool mat
about 8 project bags (no pictures)
