Boutique Items and a BOM block done

For the last two years, our guild has had a fall boutique to raise money for programs and workshops.  So since the idea of national teachers coming to teach, I always like to donate items for the guild.  I started in earnest this weekend to work on some items for this years' boutique.  We are also having a section for consignment items (where 15% of the sale goes to the guild).  Here are a few boutique items. Quilt as you go table runner using left over strips from quilt I made last year. Bought these 2 panel kits 1/2 off at our local quilt store. Another quilt as you go runner from left over strips. I'm also going to put this wool table runner in the consignment section.  I have been working on this each time I go visit my dad.   And then I finished the Fat Quarter Shops Block of the Month for July.  (Remember, I'm making 2 blocks each month so I'll have 2 quilts at the end.  One to donate to next years guild.) A finish and BOM block done

I decided to work on my Pat Sloan's Globetrotting block 7 since I didn't want to start another project last night. Last month I noticed that mine was looking really blue so I thought I'd make this months block redder. And then I finished a very special project that I can't show the whole thing because it's a surprise gift for someone.  But here's the center.  The whole quilt it quilted and bound - just needs a label. I tried to take better pictures so I can show all the quilting I did, but it just wasn't going to show. I started working on my Farmer's Wife quilt today.  I'm working on the border now as the center is all done.  This will take me a while though.  I can't wait to see it finished. We had a very quiet 4th of July.  We have 3 dogs, one of which is very afraid of fireworks.  So we gave him a Benedryl and hugged him all night while he just shook.  And I'm dealing with another very naughty little girl dog who thinks peein...
