June BOM Updates

Finished all my BOM's for June.  The first one done was the Fat Quarter Shops block 1 of the 2014 Designer Mystery quilt - I am going to try to make 2 of each block each month.
Then I worked on the Pat Sloan Globetrotting Block of the Month.

I think its looking kind of blue - need to add more red or use red to sash.
And last but not least, the final two blocks for the fall BOM.  All that's left (all ha ha) is the applique center and then putting it all together and the quilting.
Blocks 11 & 12

Blocks 1-12
It will be awhile before I get to finishing this one.  I already have one top to quilt and I hope to have the top of my Farmer's Wife quilt top done soon too.  I'm about 1/2 way done putting that top together.

Thanks for looking.

  1. All of your blocks are gorgeous. You are right about needing to add some more red to the one set. The red and white pinwheels really look good.

  2. Three very nice quilt in progress. I think Globetrotting will balance out in the end if you just make the next few block with more red. I love what I see so far. The fall BOM is wonderful. Love the colours and can't wait to see the applique. I know, I know! I won't hold my breath. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

  4. All of your projects look lovely. Isn't it nice to rotate between them rather than working on just one quilt all the time until you burn out, or find yourself taking shortcuts just to get it done and over with? I especially love the Globetrotting one.
