Pointless Quilter

Finally something I can share. I've had this layer cake of Peace on Earth fabrics and the beige and red fabrics for years just waiting for the right pattern. This is a pattern from a Scnibbles book and went together rather easily. I quilted feathers in each circle and in the border. I like it better than I thought I would. I also finished this little birdie. I finished the painting in the class at Road to California but just finished the quilting and binding. Just in case you thought I've been slacking I have finished the guilds solid challenge, the loose threads quote challenge and labels for three more quilts. I have sent in my application for the Best of the Valley quilt show and need to get sleeves on the five quilts just in case they get accepted. Thanks for looking.   Posted with Blogsy

I have spent the last two days painting fabric. Waiting for it to dry so I can quilt it I've also made my niece her birthday present. When I got back from Road to California last week I had a package from my sister Brenda. In the package were these two goodies. And these cute little birdies. It took me a bit to find the right place for them. Now off to watch paint dry. I might start cutting fabric for my next project. Thanks for looking.   Posted with Blogsy
