Gramercy Stars and I Have Grown Flowers

I know shocking (that I have flowers).  I always love seeing the flowers all these quilters show on their blogs but I unfortunately, have a brown thumb.  A few Christmases ago, I received one of those bulbs that you can grow in your windowsill.  I usually plant them outside and nothing comes of it.  Well this year, look what showed up.
The first picture was from Thursday morning and the second picture was taken this morning.

I also finished a smallish quilt (about 52" square).  The original pattern was a freebie from P&B Textiles for their Gramercy Park fabric collection.  I made mine smaller than the original pattern because the fabric I had for the border just didn't look right so I ended it at the inner border.  I used the border fabric on the back.  These are not my colors--not sure why I bought them in the first place.  It's a minty green and a purply-pink.  Since I bought them years ago, who knows what I was thinking.  So this will be donated to our guild for our boutique in October.
This quilt was on my resolution list so I get to check one more off the list.

I will now start working on the guilds challenge and then my Whisper challenge quilt.  I know what I want to do for both so it's just a matter of doing it.

Thanks for looking.
